Dressed Art happened by chance with my daughter Daisy's art scribbles at age 2 1/2. One of the activities we encouraged and enjoyed doing with Daisy was painting. Being a career graphic designer before starting a family, I've used her artwork to create unique greeting cards for her grandparents and they just loved it. I thought how wonderful it would be to preserve these artworks and find a way to display it without ending up with a wall or refrigerator door full of her artwork. I looked into making a collage using the same technique as fine art print reproductions. Like most moms, I didn't give my toddler artist quality paints and acid-free paper to paint on, but I wanted to preserve these artworks as precious memories of Daisy's childhood the same way I collected her baby mementos such as, ultrasound picture, baby pictures, foot and hand prints, and first lock of hair.

As a work-at-home mom, my freelance graphic design services and projects like these, allow me to be with my daughter, creating memories together. This idea wouldn't have become a reality this quickly without the loving support of my husband Jon, who not only picked up on caring for our daughter when I got busy but also made this website come to life with his amazing web development skills.

I hope you can find some inspiration from this website to start creating artful memories with your child. Let me help you preserve these artwork pieces for many more years of enjoyment.
